Interior Wall & Rack Degreasing

An interior degrease is for a brown film in the tub, sticky racks, or soap scum on the walls. We scrub the floor, ceiling, walls and racks, then rinse. We do not replace tines. Send the form or WhatsApp for a price before the day.

Interior degreasing is part of the £79 to £129 visit. Years of baked-on fat, common in rental and house-share machines, takes longer and is priced before we start.

  • Tub floor, ceiling and side walls
  • Both racks, including the tines you actually touch
  • Food-safe degreaser, no bleach left on the steel
  • Filter and seal given a clean while the racks are out
  • Racks dried and refitted

What this visit does not include

  • Rusty or broken tines need new racks from the manufacturer. We clean around them and point them out.
  • We do not respray, powder-coat or “restore” rack coating.
  • This is the inside of the dishwasher, not the kitchen cabinets or the oven.

How the visit runs

Strip

Racks and cutlery basket out so the tub is bare.

Degrease

Walls, floor and ceiling scrubbed. Spray alone does not lift baked fat.

Racks

Tines and wheels cleaned so grease is not put straight back.

Rinse

Surfaces rinsed so no degreaser carries into the next wash.

Before we arrive

Take crockery out. You do not need to pre-scrub.

After the visit

Use the right dose of detergent. Too much powder is what leaves the sticky film on the walls.

DIY or a visit

Wiping the door with a cloth does not reach the tub ceiling or the back of the racks. A tablet cycle circulates past the film. It does not scrub it.

How long it lasts

A degreased tub stays acceptable for several months if detergent dose and filter rinses are kept up. Greasy cooking every day shortens that.
