Frequently asked questions

Questions people actually ask

The parts a tablet never reaches are taken out and cleaned: the filter mesh, the spray jets, the door rubber and the sump under the filter. It is not a repair. A dead pump, a split seal or an element that will not heat is a different job.

Most home visits are £79 to £129 for one deep clean. The figure is sent before anyone is booked. Plans cost less than booking the same visit one at a time. Send the quote form or WhatsApp with the make and the postcode.

Every three to six months if it runs most days. Sooner where the water is hard, or if the door stays shut and the seal never dries. A first clean is still worth it on an older machine that has only ever had tablets.

About an hour on a machine that is merely grimy. Longer if the seal is black, the element is furred, or the sump is packed.

Take the plates out and leave the door able to open fully. We bring what the job needs.

No. The tub, racks, rubber and element are cleaned and rinsed. We do not scrape the steel or leave bleach in the fold.

Yes. We clean home machines and light commercial undercounter dishwashers and glasswashers in cafes, restaurants, offices and hotel pantries. We do not take on flight or conveyor machines. Send the quote form or WhatsApp with the number of tanks.

If the smell, mould or poor wash is still there within 30 days, send the form or WhatsApp and we come back at no extra cost.

Same-week visits are usual when the diary allows. Same-day depends on who is already nearby. Send the postcode on the quote form or by WhatsApp and we confirm the earliest slot.

We serve homeowners and businesses across the United Kingdom. Send your postcode with the quote form and we confirm the earliest slot.

A tablet or a vinegar cycle only hides a smell for a day. Rinsing the filter under the tap once a month is worth doing. It does not scrub biofilm out of the mesh, mould out of the door fold, or limescale off the heating element. That is the visit.

Book a clean for smell, film, mould on the seal, blocked jets or debris in the sump. Book a repair if the pump does not run, the element will not heat, the door seal is split, or the dispenser flap never opens. We do not fit those parts.

Leave the door ajar so the seal dries. Rinse the filter monthly. In a hard-water area keep the salt topped up. Scrape plates before a cycle. A professional clean lasts about three to six months if you do those.

Cloudy glasses and a chalky tub are usually limescale and empty salt. Dirty plates on the top rack are blocked spray jets. A rotten smell is the filter and the sump. Black spots on the rubber are mould in the door fold. Water left in the base is debris in the sump, unless the pump is not running at all.

Still deciding?

Send the make of the machine and what you are noticing — smell, film on glasses, mould on the seal, or water left in the base.
