A single domestic machine at checkout is usually £79 to £129, the same band as a home deep clean. Heavy mould, several flats on one visit, or a request for notes on every unit is quoted from the number of machines and the access. The figure is agreed before the day.

Photograph the tub and the seal with the note. The next tenant should be told to rinse the filter. A checkout clean does not stay perfect for a year of neglect.

DIY or a visit

A wipe and a tablet is what failed inventories already look like. The smell is in the filter and the seal, which a cycle does not scrub.

How long it lasts

The clean is for that checkout. It is not a six-month guarantee against the next tenant. Landlords who want that book a plan between tenancies.
